Has anyone completely taken one of these down and if so is there a trick to getting the screw undone for the magazine release? Bought one used and it’s dirty as all hell. Release is rough and crunchy. Thank you guys for the help.

Might be blue loctite on it. Try a mini torch to heat it up, & then try. Hope it works.

No loctite. You depress the release and turn the screw counter clockwise. The whole assembly will come out as a whole
