Do a 'google' search on the "Sparks Shot Tower" in Philly, Pa. It's a very interesting read and will answer any questions you may have had about these very old technology 'shot towers'.Thanks for posting Mike, was interesting read.
Would be nice visiting the plant sometime and seeing all the machinery and processes.
Is interesting on how lead shot is made. If that's what shown in one pic, the 11 story tower looks like a chimney?

Possibly their QC, but many things can happen between point "A" until time of purchase somewhere else too.I Hope They Improve Their Quality Control! I bought 2 Boxes of 357 Sig Green and White Box and in one of the Boxes there was a 40 S&W Mixed in with the rest of the Ammo!!!!!
Years ago it's all I would see, and buy, on the shelves. But I haven't seen a box of any caliber yet.Running 24/7/365 and I haven't seen the first box for sale on line or in my local stores.
I order all of my .22 cal ammo direct from CCI when it's in stock:I can’t wait until .22 ammo is back to a few cents per round.
In the meantime I’ve spent a fortune on getting set up to reload
about 8 different calibers.
