I lettered every year but it took me 4 years to shoot a perfect score in all four positions.

Sadly, lots of urban/suburban High Schools dropped their ROTC program and school shooting sports

My college alma mater is the last program and range on the west coast.

My gun club still supports FFA/4H skeet/Trap matches that will have very large turnouts. It's nice to witness the youth participation and high skill level. There are a few universities that still offer shooting programs and Schreiner being very successful.
