I bought a super single-six in 1976 . It was a fantastic shooter. I used it to hunt Squirrels with it and always made head shots. This was back when I could still tell it was a Squirrel I was looking at up in a tree. I might have shot one box of .22 magnums through it.
It had the 5.5 inch BBL. I remember the .22 mags shot 1 & 1/4 inches low compared to the .22 LR. I sold that revolver a long time ago and always regretted it. I now have my deceased B-I-law's single-six . It is a 3 screw model without the .22 mag cyl. and non adjustable sights. He put a round through his foot once with it. Got lucky and didn't hit any bones.
