A “mind-boggling” cache of weapons. Really?

I agree that he should use a more secure method to store the firearms. I wonder if we should cut him some slack because the article states that the guy is a Social Worker. Maybe he's new to the hobby and just started acquiring his guns when he heard that liberal cities plan to send Social Workers to handle violent situations instead of police. That ridiculous plan might also explain the guy's recent substance abuse.

All I can say is wow, not an issue with what he has except for maybe the flamethrower but definitely a storage concern.
Why the flamethrower ? I'm getting one. I should have bought it when it was $400. These days it's $700.

I don't know how he can afford all that stuff on a social worker's salary, but power to him on that front. Shoulda dropped a couple grand on a few safes. Probably shouldn't shoot in a residential area at all hours of the night. Even around here that's going to wind up with either a visit from me or from the police.

As for the drugs, well, I got little sympathy for druggies, but it's too bad for his sake he isn't related to grampa Joe. Maybe the guy could claim it was Russian disinformation.

I guess Oregon has a safe storage law which says according to some folks I know, if a gun is not in use it must be locked up and that means asleep or taking shower it needs to be in a lock box so my friend says he has slept with his weapon on him and in Nam it was always a constant shower.

My main concern is the the complete lack of journalistic integrity in the written article. Nothing to confirm or deny any accusations...everything you read could be interpreted completely differently.
journalistic integrity, What to hell is that? ;) Never has been any. I.E. James Thomson Callender (1758 – July 17, 1803)
