However, print is all but dead. Well, it looks like F&S at least may be trying to make a comeback.

NOTE: Nat Geo is available contrary to the articles' author.

i read Field and Stream in my earlier years of fishing. but like any magazine i bought, subscribed to, and read, the advertising was more pages than the articles. i gave up, all magazines, unless it was trade related to the automotive repair field. at least there, i got the technical knowledge and very few ads.

another reason why i emailed SA to stop sending me thier magazine. even "The Blue Press", get's tossed into the trash when it arrives.....nothing but advertising for thier presses, or Hi Points. same with the USCCA monthly mag..one or 2 stories of self defense shootings, the rest all BS ads.

and don't get me started on Playboy either.....4 or 5 pages of nekked gals, the rest all BS ads.

but in truth, i could at least say to the Mrs, "i'm only reading the articles, as THAT'S ALL THERE IS".....!!!!!!!
