A Remington Model 700 VLS With Factory Match Ammo

I had one of these years ago in .223, very accurate rifle, one I had came with, I think a kevlar stock or something similar, it was a black stock with small bumps over it, the finish on rifle was like a black parkerized.

Sounds like my rifle. Remington heavy barrel varmit synthetic in .223. it has an after market trigger the prior owner had installed. It's a 3oz trigger. I've trued more than once to get it to trip by banging the stock end on the hard floor, but it has never failed in the 20yrs. I've owned it. From what I know about it a Law enforcement agency owned it and was used as a light sniper weapon. All I know for sure is it is the most accurate rifle I own. Laser like on groundhogs and beaver.
