A woman who was taken hostage and driven away by the suspect ended the situation herself when she shot him.

This story is kind of vague in details. This happened back in November. Was it the suspects car or the victim's car? There was a gun in the car, which the victim used to shoot him with. This headline makes it sound like she carried a gun, which she obviously didn't. Glad she survived.View attachment 52926

Yes they only had a single paragraph and did not go into detail so it leaves you hanging. This story is kind of vague in details. This happened back in November. Yes, I clicked on the link to the original story out of Amarillo, and it was just as vague.Yes they only had a single paragraph and did not go into detail so it leaves you hanging.
It could be the victim was not allowed to own or posses a firearm."the male driver had been shot by a firearm that was inside the vehicle,” and it was the victim who pulled the trigger."
Is it really that hard to write "The intended victim was armed and shot the suspect"? Or "The intended victim got found a gun in the vehicle and shot the suspect."? Which ever way it played out.
I think they go out of their way not to say that a citizen successfully defended themselves with a gun.
