Adding an eBike to "stay healthy" endeavors

In addition to my kayak fishing activities, which I haven't been able to pursue lately, I took the plunge yesterday and ord'd an eBike. Regular pedaling up inclines/hills, even with the use of the gears of my current bike, playes he!! on my 67.5 yr old knees, so going with power-assisted biking. Will have to also order a (probably costly) new trailer hitch-mounted rack to transport it, as the current rack won't hold the weight of the new bike, which is 70lbs (w/battery). Dang thing doesn't ship until end of July though 😠.

Looks pretty wild! - Hope you have a good time with it exploring!

Nice! I have a Thule hitch rack on the back of my vehicle. It's rock solid but I don't know its maximum capacity.

Been thinking about the same thing. Pretty impressed with the ZUGO E-Bike, seems they check all the boxes.
Cool 👍. I just looked at their site after you mentioned the company. Made in the USA (TX) too 👍.

I'd ride mine (when it gets here) the short 3 miles to the local park for the trail there, if it wasn't the fear of getting ran over on the hwy. Two-lane county road, with no shoulders to speak of. Basically just road and ditch. 😨

Okay, rec'd the bike a few days ago, after a 5 week wait. Did a test of the headlight and rear lights last night. Gotta get past this high humidity before I get it out more often, and have a hitch-moubted rack in shipping right now to transport to other locations to ride. Oh, and the brake light works when applying either brake lever.
