adjustable spring?

While there will be poly haters posting I'll get past their reasoning! Just something new, but not sure (most likely not) why you would technically shorten a spring. Well, the overall length by pre-loading to cause higher spring pressure. It being FLAT wire could give complete cycling by having the space to do so it could bottom out/overtravel? Similar to AR springs in this manner the buffer bottoms out. Not sure if I like what flat wire people peddle! I know my glocks have them, but they're specifically designed by and for glock from glock. Like shock buffers for 1911's that could short stroke, but I don't own a 1911 or know a person who has used 1. Glock owners with a glock perspective on this what do you think?

Personally I would pass, it will probably have issues like the shok buff has st times on a 1911, not into these new gimmicks, I just keep my Glocks all stock

Pretty much my thoughts! I do have other springs with different pressures, but it's only 1 weight. I have 11-21 # spring weights for glocks.

At the end of the day you still have the Glock trigger to deal with. No thanks.
Why does everyone complain about triggers on every gun, not only Glock? Yet you have 1911's with enough to contend with (not particularly you), but wa, wa, waaaaaaa and booihoooohooo. Just shoot and have fun peeps! My sg trigger is horrific along with all of my ba guns. Yicks! I'm not picking on you, just stating what complaints are on most gun forums. On a side note I saw your Glock knockoff for 799 and another knockoff for 1400. I like Glocks, but no way I'm paying that price.

I’ve just got the $799 knock off and unfortunately it’s gone back to the mothership - not trigger related. I was just being a smart aleck, but I will admit to being a trigger snob. If I can’t make the trigger “right” it goes. so when my Shadow Systems DR920 comes back it will be going on the market. The upside is that the DR920’s Glock-style trigger has made everything else I own feel like a cream puff.

i can't say i'd go for this. however, i have replaced the plastic guide rod/spring assembly with the Glock steel one which is heavier, on my G-17, and i got that from the Glock Store.

i also do not use shock buffers on any of my 1911's....heck, didn't Bill Wilson, who sells them, said they don't work..??? (i cannot recall)

That gun was on my new short list. My new favorite store up the street has them. I'll have to get Bill to let me shoot one so I can feel the trigger.

It’s basically a Glock trigger. If you’re ok with that you’ll be fine with it. If you decide after you buy you want to make it better then your only real choice is to replace the entire fire control unit with something like an Apex or a Jonny Glock. The gun is a good shooter. Very accurate, very flat, but if you like a silky smooth trigger …
