AFG/sling conundrum

I like an afg and the placement of this current afg. My question is what do I use to push the strap/ connection out further away where it does not hit my knuckle.

Your only options are to place a MLOK side-sling connector in the farthest forward MLOK slot, or move the AFG back. But it looks like you're using a carbine gas system, so movement of the AFG back is limited?

It’s mid length. I just realized I could put mlok QD sling mount closer down near the mag well, and just let the front loop dangle or remove it.

OK. Having the MLOK sling mount on the side vs. the bottom makes carrying the rifle in a ready-position much better.

Yep, that works. I have two forward attachment points, one out front & one mid-way like that.
