Alec Baldwin Tries to Avoid Blame (Again) in New Court Filing

This guy is insane, blaming everyone but himself for this horrendous event, but since he a a star, will see if he can act his way out of this, sad situation for all.

He is not a man of integrity by refusing to take responsibility for something that is obviously his fault as well as something he admitted to doing as in the beginning of the investigation he admitted on camera to pulling the trigger and is now saying he didn’t.
What a POS.

I worry that Baldwin is not simply trying to save himself from criminal charges. He appears to be putting some effort into avoiding personal, civil liability. I do not have specific knowledge of Mr. Baldwin's exact legal strategy, or that of his production company. In a situation like this, it would not be unheard of for a production company to attempt to have the entire incident declared a "workplace accident", and claim that any damages should be paid under the terms of the company's insurance policy. I'm still hoping that this type of defense is simply a standard practice in the film industry, and the family will be compensated.

Working in the industry as a cinematographer I've felt a close connection to this case since the first day. So many checks and balances had to fail for this to occur. Management and the ENTIRE chain of command should be held FULLY responsible for her life including Baldwin, the neophyte armorer and the assistant director that decided he could call the weapon clear. I've seen it happen on all levels where a shortcut one day becomes standard practice the next day. I've always been a stickler for procedure and safety on set NO MATTER THE BUDGET. I shot a post apocalyptic feature in Western Washington that used LIVE AMMO. It can be done if everyone is trained properly. Alec Baldwin was an anti 2A winy thespian biotch before this and just wanted to "play" cowboy without doing the work. Go train with Taurun like Keanu and have a real set of nuts like Halle Barry. *steps off soap box...sorry for the rant ya'll, I just HATE half assed!

to be honest, i didn't even bother to read the article, the headline said it all.

he IS human excrement, for sure, and we all know this.

to me, in my humble opinion, he is ruined for life. it is not like income tax evasion, or stock market insider information, or baking a batch of marijuana brownie's, and serving them to a group of teens for his daughters sleep over.

those things, people forget in time..

this maybe is not murder, but some sort of negligent manslaughter on his part.

to me, he should have known to never point a gun, real or fake, at anyone.

he was actually "in control" of that gun, in his hand, meaning the "devil didn't make him do it" .

i hope he loses, i hope his civil suit cleans him out.

i hope he ends up broke, and not even a job as a busboy should be available to him.
