It's no secret I'm a huge fan of .22 "understudies." Been shooting them for decades. The guy who wrote this article has a pretty nice collection of .22 revolvers.

I'm still suffering from "sticker shock" on today's ammo prices. 15 years ago there were several different kinds of ammo available for around 2c per shot. Now you're having a great day if you can find it for under 6c a shot.

So now I've moved on to replica CO2/BB guns. All the fun of pulling triggers, for (if you do it right) less than 1c a shot. What's not to like?

Same here they are typically the way I close out a range session. More just for fun then training purposes.
