Grayfox Professional Apr 15, 2024 #3 I'm no expert, but I believe most of the 180 gr loads are hunting ammo intended for use in bolt action rifles. It may be over pressure for the M1A. I suggest you contact Springfield Armory for more info. Just give 'em a call.
