Am sure there are a few methods, I can see some variations of it there.

OCD, heard it's contagious with ammo? :ROFLMAO: The more something is precious, the more it's kept track of as a general rule?
Sorting does save time later inventorying for whatever reason. Can tell at a glance what's what.
Unfortunately fortunate, with so little available ammo, it's easier to organize?

probably also helps that I’ve probably got just over 3,000 rounds total. Seems like he has much more than I do. I’m sure most of the people on here do.

He likely stays pretty busy.

Ammo? Nope, not me....went down with guns in boating accident.
Boat still has cracked hull at waterline from that same excursion.
Now, to fix that boat and go find? :)
