I will share a story I was told at the Snub roundup on 22 bird shot. Apparently there was one successful stop. A serial rapist was at work and a husband left a 22 revolver for his wife (unknown barrel length) rapist came through the window with nothing on but a mask. Wife shot one round at his weapon aka Mr Stiffy and when the patrol Officers got there they followed the blood trail out the window to where he was at.

So while I’d never recommend that it’s not really that good for snakes it was a rather funny story from a reputable lawman!
