Congrats, my hands tingle for a 2nd gun. Davidson Hellcat Pro-someday- but unsure about even using it with Minnesota new law. Several Attorney sites have called it the worst gun law ever. If you don't retreat, above the regular retreat state law, from danger and show a weapon-not just gun-it is assault with a weapon. At light rail station a man was threatened by 3 people that they would slit his throat, he pulled a machete and put it away. Because he scared the perps he is doing time-up to mandatory 7 years. Has anyone heard about this new law? How can you turn your back on threat and walk away? Crazy!

Was reading up on that, basically it says you have to retreat before you use a weapon, your weapon is your last resort if you can’t retreat, Ohio had that for awhile but it got voted out. You can’t just show your weapon to scare someone away, that’s actually called brandishing a weapon, which what you described in your post, which even in Ohio it’s against the law, your weapon is your last resort
