Another Example of Why to Go Armed

You just never know where it will come from.

Texas man killed by naked man who beat him to death with firewood he was delivering

good ole justice for me is to find him guilty, and move right on over to death row.

Weird! It would be interesting to get more details. Sounds pretty crazy!

With regard to living in the sticks, if that is what you want to do, don’t wait too long. The older you get and the more doctors you have regular visits with, the harder it gets to move to the sticks.

So glad I live in the sticks and not in a heavily populated area.

I plan on staying as rural as possible until I die. I’m in my 60s but most people think I’m in my late 40s. I’m healthy and don’t plan on getting sucked into the complicated mess that passes for a health care system. I’ll be that old witch who lives down the road 😉😎

I’ve been throwing away massive amounts of money for years on medical insurance. I never use it. They should PAY ME my deductible amount every year I don’t use it.

The wife uses it but she’s kind of a hypochondriac.

I've told this story before.

Two guys tried to rob me right outside my apartment one night. I was on my way to work and I happened to be working armed. When they realized I was armed and willing to defend myself they backed down.

That incident taught me a lesson I never forgot. I don't leave my building unarmed.

Thank goodness the VA takes care of my 76 year old butt. We pay close to a 1000.00 a month for our medicare supplement plans. While the VA has been good to me they are often very slow giving approval for some procedures.
