Another Gavin Newman stunt!

He has somehow decided that the recent SCOTUS ruling regarding abortion is relatable to, in his words, "assault rifles'. He somehow sees a way in using the ruling to make it easier and more plausible to sue manufacturers of certain, and at some point probably all firearms manufacturers.

The guy is a total nut job where he stands on 'gun control' in general, and will jump on any band wagon that he and/or his advisors think will endear him to the voters in 2024 when he's likely planning a run for POTUS. Is it something in the water out there, or is it just in his DNA?

In responding to the U.S. Supreme Court decision allowing the Texas abortion ban to stay in place, California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Saturday said he plans to propose a gun control law that would be modeled on the Texas one.

well...someone voted him in, and apparently, the recall vote didn't work either...

so, those that do not like him, have to suffer from the pansies that adore him.
 
Well, first off, until every conservative gun owner and media person start correcting the anti gun crowd that the term is not an “assault rifle”, their narrarive will not change.

It is a modern sporting rifle or just a rifle.
“Assault rifles” do not exist.

Just like an “assault pistol” does not exist.

I am surprised on Calguns over how many just comply with the laws in California rather than use civil disobedience and other tactics to make those laws look unenforceable just like how the weed smokers managed to get away with weed being legal almost everywhere despite it being illegal under Federal Law.
