Another one charged in Rittenhouse Case.

The defense should counter that it'a legal for someone under the age of 18 to operate a rifle in hunting season in WI, as is the .223/5.56 cartridge for varmit hunting, and an AR no more dangerous than an hunting rifle.

Rittenhouse has an incredibly strong chance of successfully pleading self-defense. If his friend has admitted intentionally purchasing the rifle on behalf of Rittenhouse, while knowing that Rittenhouse was too young to legally purchase the weapon, then the friend stands a much higher chance of being convicted than the shooter.

I do have to wonder if the facts have been as clearly established as the media makes them out to be. The news always presents these stories as if the suspect has provided authorities with a full confession and has taken responsibility for committing a crime. In my experience, people suspected of criminal activity are not usually this eager to help the government convict them.

This is America. Remember.
You are always guilty by the media immediately upon any infraction.

Their son was cleaning graffiti and trying to straighten up the damage, all day long.

He is training to be an EMT/Paramedic, and a police officer.

He was on-site with his med kit, in case people needed help. He was first attacked while rendering aid to a man who was shot.

Yeah.

Damn those irresponsible parents. How dare they raise a son who tries to make things better, and actually help people in need, in the midst of chaos.

I don't understand about the EMT and police training thing. Was he taking online courses? I ask because Kyle Rittenhouse is a high school dropout and all schools that offer EMT training require a high school education. And I pity the citizens of a city that would hire a high school drop out as a police officer.

I personally believe that EMT/police officer thing is a line of BS propagated to put Rittenhouse in a better light.

Carrying an AR-15 to a scene of choas doesn't present the picture of someone wanting to be helpful. The lesson to be learned here is; if you want to be a hero, join the Marines. Oh wait, even the Marines require at least a GED.

Exactly, there defense is total bull 💩
This was a kid that just wanted to be in the spotlight and that attention getting stunt will most likely cost him many years in prison.
