Another Range Day

Since I will be having knee surgery on Thursday I wanted to get to the range again before that happened. I figure I would be unable to go for 2-3 weeks. It was going to be another 100 degree day so I went early and fired the Saint Edge and a Glock 48. Both firearms worked flawlessly and I did enjoy myself. Hopefully I will be able to go sooner if all goes well. I try to go at least once a week and try to fire at least a 100 rounds when I go. When I don't go I get withdrawal symptoms.

That's pretty much my plan too, once a week, 100 rounds per week through my 9mm pistols (not each ). Then, maybe if I have time, 50 rounds of .22LR through my smaller pistols.

I will say a quick prayer for a successful surgery and a quick recovery. Be blessed.

I'm glad you got to go and enjoy some quality time before your laid up for a few weeks

I typically go to the range at a minimum of once a week but I do sometimes go 2-3 times some weeks. I've been mostly shooting .22lr, 9mm, & 5.56 with .300blk, 10mm, & .308 sprinkled in there.

I didn’t get to go before going under the knife now I’m regretting that.

How far do you have to go to get to a range? I have some ex-military friends north of you, but don't know where they go either?

Its a old gravel pit and its about 5 miles from the house. Could go to county range also which is in other direction but at the gravel pit its free and doesn't have a bunch of people there.

If it's a meniscus I had a double tear and was walking the next day. I couldn't bend my leg for about a year and it hurts as bad now as it did before the surgery, just like everyone else I know who's had it. I don't recommend it.
