It seems that some people in the media and other places can't understand why with over 100 gun control laws on the books in California why there are still mass shootings. But they still say pass more. Any good ideas?

CA recently re-elected their leadership, exchanging mayors for another like mind, voted to nix recalls of incompetents.

New laws are merely amendments to existing laws. It gives the elected a talking point and cover to look relevant to appease the uninformed all the while prosecution deals are plenty and penalties are greatly reduced at the expense of the law abiding, fearful taxpayer.

Media did their part to stifle any public dissatisfaction.
