Ah OK, when I looked the first time there was no video lolI believe his issue is that the mag is releasing itself with the button on the opposite side. You could cut away a little bit of the holster on that side.
I agree that it's "easy enough". I took a class recently and having it switched is definitely faster for me, but that could just be a training this, I suspect.I personally find a right hand mag release to be very easy to use with my left trigger finger.
I am left handed as is my wife. I learned to shoot right handed as my dominate hand as a child. So on the P365xl my wife might use I set up the magazine release for left hand use. With a bit of training I am now actually faster with it on the right side than I am with pistols setup for right hand use with my right thumb. Same way I am faster shootibg with my left hand and a right hand release.I agree that it's "easy enough". This just may be the most full-proof fix.
ooo, I like this idea. I may try this. Thanks.Since that is a Kydex holster it looks like an easy fix. Mark where the mag release is on the holster and remove the gun. With a heat gun, gently warm the area around the mag release. when it softens, take a metal rod or something similar and push the Kydex outward away from the release area. Try to tent it in a pyramid or dome shape so that the stress lines are going out to the edges clear the mag release. That way, even if pressure against the outside of the holster bottoms out against the gun, you will still have a pyramid or dome shape roof over the release.

I agree. I've used that method on all the semi-autos I've ever owned. I don't normally modify a firearm for my "lefty-ness" I just try to figure out an efficient way to use what's there. And I train, train, train.I personally find a right hand mag release to be very easy to use with my left trigger finger.
