We have opportunity to get it. We are on satellite now for TV and internet but weary of the cost increases
for clarification, i do not have service interruptions with Verizon's FiOS, as it is cable.that's a new one on me.
i once had Directv which was just ok, every freaking storm, i'd get no reception, and now Verizon's FiOS.
i think in the end, it doesn't matter, rent, lease, or buy the equipment, they still get you on how many receiver's you have, plans you want, speeds you want, then here they get us for sales taxes, and fee's for poor people to have service, and other BS fee's...they even charge us for a sports channel (here) whether you watch it or not..!!)
an old, now deceased buddy of mine used to say something like, "you wait and see, some day all that is free on the tv now, we will have to pay for"..the guy was a psychic....
and then too, not all local channels are carried on any cable service, which is why i have a rooftop antenna as well.
