Anyone have experience with CZ Scorpion?

I researched them deeply when choosing my first MP5 (fill-in-the-blank clone...yes I know the CZ is not a clone, but it does the same thing). I would buy one in a heartbeat after all the raves I've read and heard about them. My first however, was an H&K SP5. I have not heard a bad thing about them, other than you end up shooting way too much ammo, way too fast. I know they recently dropped in retail price, so now is a good time to pick one up if you're waffling. It's a CZ...they make good stuff.
 
The Scorpion is really reliable and easily customizable. I've had mine for a few years now and it's one of the most fun firearms I own. My Scorpion is a stamed SBR and I've outfitted it with a Rugged Obsidian 9 suppressor.

I have upgraded a few things on the exterior and under the hood.

Buddy has one. It's nice enough but I think there are better options out there around that price range, or if you have a bit more to spare in the budget. I'd look at MP5/Clones, Sig MPX, CMMG, B&T - in no particular order.
BUT - Roller Delayed >>>> Piston Driven >>>> Direct Impingement >>>> Direct Blowback - in that exact order, in my opinion.

Which CZ model is yours? Do the magpul mags work in newer models of the gun?

I have the Evo 3 which is the previous generation. The newer model is the 3+ and I've read that the mags are backwards compatible so I'm sure that the Magpul mags should work. I'm not sure on the aftermarket support for the 3+ but HB Industries has a lot of upgrades for the EVO 3.

Thanks for input.
I’m looking to keep with pistol format. I believe the new 3+ ships with braces on them and from what I can tell they are removable. If the “rule” changes or sticks again I can just remove it and be compliant.
 
I’ve shot several and we have one as a rental gun. Very nice as someone that was issued an MP 5 for years the CZ had the same familiar operation. If I was in the market for a 9mm PCC (I know the scorpion is a “pistol”) I’d get the CZ over the Sig simply you get as much gun for half the cost with the CZ
