nope, i was on the look out driving at about 4:00 AM (taking home a family member, when she got out of work) and neither of us saw it...the weatherman this morning said it was a "very light event" and if you had a smart phone and adjusted that, you would have seen "some of it"

I hear that from a lot of people and I think they probably got to looking at it later than me. We were looking for it as soon as it was dark and in the beginning it was very vivid and pronounced with the naked eye. A few minutes later it was difficult to see, but if you looked through your phone camera it was very vivid easily until after 10 PM CST. My parents are closer to St. Louis and they couldn't see much, but they got outside late and have a lot more light pollution than I do.

We have too many trees to the north to see anything low to the horizon, which was where they were most vivid here. Lots of pics on FB from friends out in lake country though. Great pics here guys!

Actually, using a long shutter (20-30 seconds) on the camera would produce better pictures than what you could see with the naked eye.

I'd seen it before while visiting Alaska, but this was the first time I recall seeing the northern lights in Arkansas.

Pretty diffused & limited ones here last Friday & Sat nights.

Blues, faint pinks & some yellow streaks. No moving waves like what they get in AK & Canuck land.

Did last long & showed up right after it finally got dark to the north, this time of the year.

Folks with cameras got more detail.
