Just add the twist rate info too it and it would be better explained for the novices. The 11.5" 5.56 is the shortist that I have and would go with. Like stated in the article a shorter in the 300bo would have better uses that the 5.56. The 11.5 is a 1/8 twist so my bullet selection is limited too 77gr before stability loss. If I had a 1/6 or 1/6.5 the 90-95gr would be nice!
 
Love my 7/5" BO. Sweeps the house nicely where I feel a longer barrel will hit the doorway.
With the red/green laser on it sighted to 21' I'm good to go. Soon will be using the 8"
upper for 5.56 to see how it does.... got 1K of rounds I bought before this virus crap started.
