Over the years in my builds/upgrades I've used both modular & conventional triggers, the last of several makes.

I've used the Wilson Combat modular on a precision build.

Besides that build I use conventional 2-stage triggers. Early on I used RRA 2-Stages (both types), but lately have gone with the LaRue Tactical MBT-2S.

I'm so used to a lighter 2-stage a standard single-stage feels really hard to use.

I use KNS non-rotation trigger pins on all.
