And he we go, this cleared the house committee, I don’t think it’s going to go to far, but with a few RINO’S out there, we have to be vigilant and contact our congressman and senators

Yup, I've already received and sent two "Action Alerts" on this bill to my Congresswoman (Who as a Democrat is probably sick and tired of all the emails on my pro gun stance (don't vote YES on these bills), that I'm sending her 🤗 😆). One "Action Alert" was from the NRA-ILA and the other from NSSF. I also was sent and took a survey from the GOA on where I stood on 2A when it came to voting.

They will not have much of an opportunity to fundamentally transform the Constitution 2A after Jan 2023 and have to get as much frivolous legislation On Record before Nov, actually Oct if you count mail-in’s.

There were two (D) members on the Jud committee voted No.
This hasty movement, actually a rehash of the old ‘94 ban, if it does make it to the House floor vote, it will probably end there.
Anyone know if HR1808 is tied into any other larger bill or spending?

They want to rush this through...but…The House needs 216 votes to pass, so far there are 4 (D) Nays, and several that are undecided for a passing HR1808, not counting the 2 unreliable (R)’s currently tied up with the Unselect Committee, so the vote may not come anytime soon like a Friday surprise or put off until August Recess returns… and as a reminder, Proxy Voting had been extended again (4x) until Aug 12, how convenient since now there’s a major host virus going around WDC. So timing, along with some prominent primary nomination upsets coming up also in August, the issue is critical…and suspect.

If it does pass the House, the Senate might be their next unattainable hurdle. Even the ‘94 Ban was passed on a 52 Y majority.

I expect an end to HR1808 and more anti 2A Mid Term fodder…it’s all for talking points.
