ATF after FRT/Binary triggers

I don't know if you all been seeing news within gun community on how ATF is going after FRT trigger made by Rare Breed. Some FFL's were visited by ATF and seized all their FRT stock. I am also hearing they are planning to go after Binary triggers next. Then what Geissele triggers, then all semiauto triggers with less than 5-6lb triggers? How far will they go?

I wonder how long it will be before they seize the records of these companies and start visiting the homes of people who purchased these?

All addressed here, fear not, the rumor mill is barking over the top right now. Your triggers aren't illegal and they're still for sale.

When they seized the stock they also took all the record of the ones sold and they are going after them next is what I am hearing!

I really hope they don't win with this BS or we all are in for something 😒

As long as the rumor mill is on fire, I recently heard the Feds are digitizing and storing old 4473's, no doubt for nefarious purposes.

This may clarify things

This is five months old and not up to date with what's going on.

Mr. Gunsngear was also wrong propagating the email rumor a few days back.

The ATF sent a letter to Rare Breed almost half a year ago, a court lawsuit ensued, the judge threw it out because both parties didn't file enough paper work in time because of ATF foot dragging. No raids have happened to Rare Breed, no customers have been visited.

The other thread has links to video from both the Rare Breed owner on his company's status, and to an interview with Dan O'Kelly, an ATF expert witness that has testified on behalf of Rare Breed. He points out that the ATF has picked a fight they can't win and they know it.

The triggers are legal, buy them, use them, live without fear that anyone is coming for them with charges.

These triggers hit the market in December of 2020, 15 months later it is still for sale without ATF interference to that reality.

Well, I read that in the last few months of the NRA magazine. I would hardly call that the rumor mill. Though I am quite sure there are a couple people here who will bend over backwards to convince you this is rumor too. In fact I saw someone here say that very thing yesterday. So I guess they know more than the editors at American Rifleman. lol

I forsee boating accidents and memory loss if it applies! WHAT, WHO, WHERE.......what are we talking about.....,,..............
The ATF with their 2600 nationwide agents would need local law enforcement to do it for them given that there are at least 100k of these out there.

I live in Austin, and given what the cops here are dealing with, no way going around looking for triggers would be on the itinerary, especially given Texas' second amendment sanctuary status.

In fact, there's an Austin gun dealer with over 100 in stock on gunbroker right now, selling it at MSRP while others are attempting to price gouge panic buyers.

Law enforcement would make an example of someone or company to set the wxample and then having folks voluntarily follow suit not to be in court .

As for any laws, we’ll see what ATF does and who sues the ATF

So I guess it's also your position that braced pistols and 80% lowers are perfectly fine? Buy them up no worries. Hell, by that logic go ahead and build yourself an unregistered SBR. I mean 2600 agents isn't enough to do anything about it.
