Yeah, that's a nasty interpretation by the ATF. It'll be a good case for SCOTUS if the ATF doesn't change it. Hopefully they slap some sense into themselves and reverse course.

A good article and now that I know what ATF agent’s look like I’m ready for them,
I did find the article jumped around a little and I was never sure if it was talking handguns or AR pistols.
I will say someone needs to slap these rogue agents back to reality in what there job actually is, enforcing the current laws and stop creating new ones.
