ATF Seize Huge Larry Vickers Gun Collection

Why would he let his SOT expire, thats only 500 a year. If he was a manufacturer that would be more. But even then a SOT can keep all transferable class three items if they do not renew. If these were historical items most would be transferable. Then someone who has health issues I would think would have had a back up plan to transfer them to another dealer or add another member/lawyer/business partner to the SOT.

From what I read a week ago, he let his SOT lapse by non payment, which caused the ATF to seize NFA Regulated firearms. However, this article seems to indicate that some on the list that were seized were not NFA Regulated firearms leading to question why those were seized.

Larry Vickers is going through cancer treatments currently so maybe he wasn't focused on the SOT.

Either way that has to suck.

Wow, I guess you could call this a possible questionable act, probably more to the story then we know right now.

Thanks for posting Annie,

- Agreed.
Likely a lot more than taking advantage of a persons current situation? Major illness can uproot many normal activities.
