If you own a Vortex Defender CCW red dot with the 14 hour shutoff Vortex will swap your red dot out for the 10 minute shutoff dot free of charge.

I had mine for a year and recently heard this was an option and checked out their website and sure enough you just need to email their Customer Support and they will send you an RMA label. I shipped mine off and had a new one back in 10 days.

I've got a Romeo7 that may or may not be shutting off. I think it senses when I approach the rack.

Do you know if the purchase had to be made directly off their website in order to get a replacement ? I Purchased mine off Amazon because i had a a few gift cards. I have yet to install mine on my Hellcat Pro how will i know if i have the 14 hour shut off model without installation ? if possible . And thank you in advance for any help with this

Look on the specs on the bottom of the box. It will say 10 minute shutdown if it is.

Vortex requires no proof of purchase. 8 months ago I received the most outstanding warranty service from Vortex.
They are my go to for optics after the service.

Sent an email yesterday right after reading this thread.
Got a reply later in the morning asking for a shipping address.
Shortly after got another one asking which MOA I had.
By the end of the day I got the RMA and shipping labels
