Heard that the Clay & Buck show (formerly Rush Limbaugh’s show) is pushing Bear Creek now. Not just ads but personal testimonials from the guys…WOW, just wow, the show has gone to the bottom dollar in advertising. I love the show but it makes me question every other advertiser they have.

Hadn't you noticed the advertising boycotts on all conservative shows (both TV and radio) from woke corporations? Been happening since Trump came to town. About the time that Mike Lindell became the main advertiser on Fox News 5-6 years ago (maybe a little longer) was when I noticed a seismic change.

Even the highest rated radio show in the US has to sell ad time to companies formerly not in ballpark, money-wise.

Every conservative talk show on the air does their ads like this. Mark Cox in St. Louis apparently uses Hanson Tree for all his tree care, Beig plumbing for all his plumbing needs, Michaels flooring for his flooring needs, Bart Inman for all his AC needs, etc..

That gal who's on the radio in the evenings, ah, what's her name, Dana Loesch, she hawks Kel Tec several times every show.

What do you have against BCA ? There are definitely worse ARs out there. I have a couple and they run like a scalded dog.

Every singe 'Conservative'; magazine, show, website etc, are all pushing adds... Gold Gold Gold, buy by buy... bs. Just use your media for what you are looking for and skip over the rest, do not give in to the clickbait.

Ha, Dana is one of the reasons I bought my first PF9. Yeh, I know it's not the best, but that Dana could sell me ice cubes if I lived in Antarctica. Oh yes she could! And lots of them!!! LOL!

Hi,

Sure, commercial media has to sell advertising to pay the bills. It don't bother me at all. If a company wants to advertise to my demographic, I figure they're pretty OK in my book. I might even check out their product. Gorka hawks Kahr firearms. I think Hannity hawks Henry rifles and shotguns. I'd rather listen to those ads than "Relaxium Sleep". 😴

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Quit listening to talk radio. With all the stress of listening to talk radio, you will end up with ulcers and a pacemaker. Ask me how I know.
As an added bonus you will have less car repairs. Car repairs? Ya from beating your fist on the dash till all those little computer chips quit working, yanking on the steering wheel till it's so lose that it takes 4-5 complete 360's to turn a corner, slam the gear shift till it comes off in your hand, and then you have to fix the door because you got out and kicked the $#!+ out of that. ;)

Indeed, mind your health. For me, it's moderation and variety that are key. My listening habits include information, inspiration, 90s country music, classic rock, and gospel. Sometimes I sit in silence and meditate. To much of anything, except maybe for love, is not good for you. ;)

I get more upset at network news with their bias and misreporting. I can take that in small doses. Plus, I remember when commercials were entertaining instead of annoying.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Love your sentiment, and you're not wrong by any stretch. About a year ago (and earlier in my life) I'd have AM talk on 10-15 hours/day as I'd drive my routes. About a year ago I switched from AM talk to 80% rock stations to 20% AM talk.

I am absolutely not any happier, though.

It takes time. :giggle:
