Very greasy. Tastes like greasy brisket to me. Done correctly, and taste nice.

Is it something you can grill or slow cook to get the grease out?

Is there a way to cook it to get some of the grease out and how greasy is it? Some people talk about duck being greasy but I love it. Brisket is good once in a while but I'm a huge fan of steaks, sausage, smoked meats, or slow-cooked roasts.

Gamy AF...and greasy to boot.

Never had bear I liked...tried it 2-3 times. Buddy got a couple, wanted the hides, tried to eat the meat...I am not a fan.

Maybe I'll pass on hunting them, then. I have great personal dislike for sport or trophy hunting. My personal ethics say don't kill something unless it's trying to kill me or I'll eat it.

Not a huge fan of it. Only one person I knew did a really good job of it and it tasted nice. Never had bear again after that that tasted decent. Not bad meat, but not worth the effort to me.

It is greasy and gamey. You will either like it or not. I really don’t mind it. Get it ground up and make spaghetti and “sloppy joes” with it.
