I have a pair of 10 year old Bellevilles with the vibram soles and they have an amazing level of endurance. After wearing them overseas and stateside I now wear them doing heavy work on the property and have gone through quite a lot of abuse but are still ticking. I've not heard of these new ones but based on my experience I would recommend them.

When I worked as a security guard I tried out a bunch of different pairs of boots and the ones that I was the most satisfied with were the Belleville duty boots. I worked at one place where I averaged 9 miles a day of walking.

I bought my first pair of belleville's while I worked there and I resoled them three times before they finally wore out.

I bought two pairs of the ACU boots when the Army was transitioning to the OCP uniform. I found them in a surplus store new, still with tags for $20 a pair.

They're my go-to hiking boot.
