Interesting, and I always thought the information was held onto, now knowing it was destroyed makes me feel so much better and also knowing that this law in the article has not passed yet I’m not on a list.

I don't think the FBI would have enough storage for all the private information. This would cause taxpayers to pay for the FBI to contract out for data storage. These contracted organizations or businesses could sell millions of personal information. Looking at how Facebook sells private info and get away with it. Basically data farming citizens. They'll know what you own, how much ammo you buy. And paint you a threat for buying too much. You'll be flagged and have everything confiscated.

If I were a megalomaniac which I'm not. That's what I'd do.
