Effective November 4, 2024, Beretta USA has paused production of the Beretta 1301 Tactical shotgun with 7+1 capacity due to recent developments with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). An unexpected decision by ATF is affecting the importation of certain components essential to the assembly of the 1301 Tactical 7+1 in the U.S.

So what about the various Benelli M4s with 7+1 capacity ?

I think it's an import issue. From what I remember all M4s are imported with 5 rd. tubes. Once they're in country you can extend them to their natural capacity.

IMO this is a last gasp of a BATF leadership about to go out the door.

Plenty of 7+1 M4s available for sale brand new. That didn't happen until Beretta built a factory here.
