I like revolvers, but only carry them during cold weather when the EDC in my waistband is covered by layers of clothing. None of my choices made the list, but I carry a J-frame with a concealed hammer in my outer jacket pocket. Despite some people not liking the caliber, my 7-round S&W 351C in .22 Magnum is my first choice. The 5-round S&W 642 in .38 Special is my second choice.
I like the design of the new .22 Magnum 8-shot 942 models from Taurus. Unfortunately, mine had to go back to the factory after firing less than 100 rounds. It's been returned, but I won't be willing to trust it as a carry gun until I put a few hundred problem-free rounds through it. I also like the design of the new 6-shot .38 Special 856 models from Taurus, but I'm waiting to see if Taurus has fixed some of their many previous quality control issues before I'd consider carrying one.
I'm glad to see they put a Charter Arms revolver on the list. I'd prefer my 6-shot Boxer model to the 5-shot Undercover model in the article, but at least it made the list. My .44 Special Charter Arms Bulldog is fun at the range, and I would not feel under-armed if I had to use it in a defensive situation.
