Beto Backtracks? ‘I’m Not Interested in Taking Anything from Anyone’

I smell a simple 'play on words' here. Beto will at some point come out and claim that his plan to "save/protect the 2nd" is to confiscate all "military style" weapons since they are not actually needed nor required for self defense and only make a bad name for those 'true' 2nd amendment proponents. He cannot and will not ever change his stripes from "Hell yes, we'll take your AR15's and your AK47's." He's as two-faced as any 'wannabe' politician in the world of the 2nd amendment.

His claim is that he wants to "make sure that we protect our fellow Texans far better than we’re doing right now. And that we listen to law enforcement, which Greg Abbott refused to do. He turned his back on them when he signed that permitless carry bill that endangers the lives of law enforcement in a state that’s seen more cops and sheriff’s deputies gunned down than in any other."

Then he went on to make these assertions:
The number of Texans shot to death has gone up EVERY single year under Abbott. 4,164 Texans in 2020 alone.

How does Abbott respond? By signing a dangerous law that makes it easier for criminals to carry a loaded gun in public.

His radical agenda is killing the people of Texas.

#1 - I'm thinking (without the stats in front of me) that statement is likely true under most governors today with the rise in crime being what it has been.....................................

#2 - Does any rational human being actually believe the passing of any law actually makes a damn bit of difference to any criminal ... especially involving "carrying a loaded gun in public"?

#3 - The only radical agenda "killing the people of Texas" is the liberal agenda.

In all reality, just how gullible would people have to be to buy into this???????? Sorry Beto, it just ain't gonna fly !!!!

Unfortunately, there are some that believe the crap he spews. If Beto is ever elected to any office, it would be Obama & Biden 2.0... on steroids. He's a typical politician, flip flopping with whichever the way the wind blows to get the vote. I think the majority sees through him and realizes he's little more than a snake oil salesman. However, there has been a lot... and I mean a lot... of liberals that have relocated to Texas these past couple of years. Hopefully they are smart enough to realize what caused them to move away and not try to turn Texas into what they left. But you never know, that may be asking too much.

It would be a pipe dream, but I have often thought how great it would be if all Liberals could be relocated to California. Since they essentially created the culture there, I would be pleased to see them all live there. 49 states would be better for it!
