… and pull your beaurocratic red tape head out of your ***, cause China’s single minded focus and lack of red tape is going to go toe to toe and it wont be the simplistic 💩 Russia puts out.
They are at an eclipse pace for our stolen technology. Planes, nuke, rockets and ships..

But Elon says this is old technology and broken thinking and that drone swarms are the future. Of course, this is from a man who can’t get his self driving car to actually self-drive successfully. And/or safely.
Dude, doubt Elon at your own peril. He didn’t become the richest man in the history of human beings by luck.

Only a person biased to the point of stupidity would dismiss Musk.

Dislike him all you want, but to deny the facts is very unintelligent.

The man owns and runs a private company that rescued people in outer space, just several years ago even that would have been science fiction.

He also can supply all of the information in existence to people on the ground anywhere in the world at the touch of a button, regardless how desolate and/or disaster stricken.

Some people......

Hindsight being 20/20, although I said so back then, maybe Tim Cook, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Et-Al shouldn't have or shouldn't have been allowed to turn over our tec. to the CCCP for the privilege of access to their market and slave labor to make their products 30+ years ago.
Not to get too political, I don't trust him as far as I could throw a fat man in a phone booth and never have. Does anyone else find it interesting that everyone loved Musk when he was saving the planet with his EVs but now that he has wandered off the plantation, he's a nazi.

Yes, it seems we are living in a time when "the best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity"! So I say when in doubt:

I'm not a huge Elon fan nor do I dislike him. Regardless of what you think of the man, you must recognize the fact that he will likely have an everlasting impact on the world unlike anyone else our era. So his self driving cars don't self drive, yet. However, his space program has no peers and far surpasses anything our government has developed, ever. He is developing technology that will overcome irreparable spinal cord injury restoring mobility as well as relieve the physical attributes of Parkinson's Disease among other things. The Boring Company will forever change the way we commute. Starlink will revolutionize the communication and navigation industries; and just might secretly be our government's means to accomplish good ol' Ronald Regan's vision of "Star Wars". His "Humanoid" robot development seems to be outpaced by NEO Gamma at the moment. However, Elon's Humanoid ultimately will outperform NEO and have a far lower price tag. Elon doesn't even patent most of his intellectual property. This is for two reasons; 1) He is too far ahead of everyone, including China, for anyone to catch up to him even if they use his intellectual property. 2) He figures that if people use his technologies for the betterment of society, why greedily prohibit them from accessing and further developing upon his IP. Name one drug manufacturer that does the same thing. Then, there are the things Elon is developing that are intentionally kept out of the spotlight. AI and aerospace are two areas Elon is quietly conquering the world. I respect and support your opinion. But I ask you this, what have you accomplished so far in life?

There's probably a reason he named his company after Nikola Tesla who in his own right was, as an engineer, was also a futurist, and inventor. Tesla also set up laboratories and companies to develop a range of electrical and mechanical devices from which our society still benefits from even today.

Fanbois gonna fanboi. It’s about character for me and Elon is so terribly bereft in that department it beggars belief. If Elon was just another guy like most of us, we would cross the road when we saw him coming.

You would have hated Einstein and Tesla then. My bet is you’d have liked Henry Ford though. 😉

I found it hard to take him serious after starting his reply with "fanboi".

He kind of lost credibility with me after that.
