Black Arch Holster

I purchased one after reading the review here. Looked fine with vented back padding and kydex holster. Dropped the Pro in and took off and after a short time it started to feel as if I had a dictionary on my hip. I have tightened and adjusted height multiple times and can not get past the very thick feeling. Anyone else have this holster and will it "thin" out. If carrying IWB for an extended period of time I use Crossbreed Supertuck Horsehide for plastics and MTR Custom Leather slimline for metal. I purchased this (on a whim) as my IWB for Hellcat Pro with Optic. Sitting on the shelf in my safe I love this holster on my hip not so much.

So you got a Protos? My alien gear did thin and mold to me a bit. But the Protos looks to be a leather shell. That’s definitely going to take longer to wear in.
Excellent point, it is a leather shell although it doesn't feel very stiff. I was hoping the dry matrix backing would add to the pliability. My MTR leather holsters form very quickly. I will now give it a little longer, Thanks

I have the Single Clip IWB Protos-M, and it does take a little bit to wear it in. It is still comfortable for me, as I wear it at the @3:30 position. It took probably less time with my Crossbreed for my Shield, but I wore the Shield more than the Mossberg. So, time will tell. I am satisfied with the holster overall, it does a great job for CC and is more comfortable than full Kydex. At least for me.

Yes, CB's and MTR's have spoiled me for IWB holsters. Agree on the Kydex although I occasionally use them for short durations and some during the summer.
