I'd bet that bullet would be tumbling 50' out of my 1:10 twist barrel. Maybe shorter (before tumbling). I gotta get a 1:7 for this stuff....maybe 1:6.

1:7 would handle it. $75/box though. Hard pass for me.

if hybrid cases is used only to save weight, then no thanks! if used for higher pressures, then yes please! then again, i'm not sure about a 5.56 bolt handling 80k?

Pushing an 80 gr bullet at 2830 fps in a 18" AR is a +P load.

The article doesn't state the operating pressure is 80K psi.
