New announcement and early info. Proof of comcept demonstrator(s) has been flying for a few years.

In the biggest development for U.S. Air Force tactical air power in more than two decades, Boeing has been announced as the winner of the service’s F-47 Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) ‘fighter’ initiative. As the centerpiece of the NGAD effort, the new crewed sixth-generation stealth combat jet is set to change air combat forever, with the Air Force hoping to begin fielding it the next decade.

Hi,

Buying a large fleet of these planes would be cheaper than a war. "Peace through strength". Just keep the secret stuff away from Russia and China.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
There’s a reason that Boeing got pushed out of the tactical aircraft game - they couldn’t deliver. Let’s hope they do a better job than their commercial efforts.

Wonder how many soda cans and trash the Air Force will find in this prototypes structure like they do all the rest of Boeings aircraft

The F-15EX has passed with flying colors.

The Boeing fighter branch is the former McD operation out of St. Louis vs. Seattle.

Hope the USAF has learned some program mgt. lessons based on the experience with the F-35.
