Boker Falcon OTF first impressions

Last week I saw a Boker Falcon OTF for sale for less than $50, not including shipping. Decided to see what they were like. Just arrived about 20 minutes ago and it seems very nice. I am impressed with the heft, the action is smooth and positive. The slightly recurve blade is I think an homage to the name, like a claw. I really like the feel in hand, it might actually feel lightly better than my Microtech, but I am purposefully not comparing the two. It would hardly be fair to compare a $300 arguably best OTF, with a $50 Otf. Will let it stand on its own.

Not as sharp as it needs to be but I can remedy that. Going in the pocket as soon as that happens.

I need to invest in a pocket knife, I was never into knives. If I need to cut something I’ve always had a box cutter close by. I’m about to start doing some research on a few brands. However, I don’t want to spend a $100+ on one. I’m not going that far.

I have a pile of Bokers. One or two "Real" ones from Solingen and about 6 of the sub $50 automatics. I haven't had any issues with any of them. Most of the cheap ones are Aus 8. A couple are D2.

Blade Ops is my go to knife vendor. They handle Boker, Microtech, Benchmade, etc. Blade HQ is good to go too.
