BOP Officer down USP Atwater

An incident happened yesterday at USP Atwater in Merced California. While still under investigation apparently a Mail Room supervisor was exposed to a fatal dose of an unknown substance.

Due to the amounts of drugs and chemical sprayed letters BOP started electronically scanning all inmate mail around 2020

I will also say I will reserve judgment on the cause, because almost every report of contact exposure has proven false that I have heard but it is sad no matter the circumstances!

Happened twice in the last 5-6 years in the prison where I worked. Thankfully none of my brother officers died. ECS686 not a challenge. I would be interested where you get your info, Thanks

Being retired BOP I get e mailed and FB Info from several internal and retired BOP sources. From individuals that are still active and an array of retired executives I am friends with that work within ACA and doing contract work/inspection stuff for ACA and BOP so they usually have the rest of the story so to speak.
