Breaking the Mold: Magpul’s Knives & Groundbreaking MIM Technology

Can't be. All the "experts" out there says that MIM is porous, can't be hardened so it's too soft, will crumble if you fit or hone it and will crack and break so how can it make a good knife blade?

Than again, if it will make a usable knife blade why not a sear, or hammer etc.
Easy......hardness. as far as tech now it's not probably possible? Just like doing bolts in mim. By sometime in the future connection rods and crankshafts could be made by mim.

I remember watching STAR TREK as a young child and thinking how cool would it be to be able to communicate through a hand held device by simply flipping the cover and pressing a button or two. Technology has certainly come a long way since then. If MIM parts are good enough to be used in modern spacecraft, what makes one think they cannot survive in a modern firearm?

I’m just waiting for the phaser…..
