Now I know you know what model that is so this isn't a direct response to you, but it is amusing to me that so many people upon seeing my Taurus model .44 with 8 3/8" bbl make the comment " Ah, Dirty Harry". So it seems not only is Clint responsible for the resurgence of the model 29, but he is also responsible for all large caliber revolvers with long barrels being referred to as Dirty Harry guns.

That’s a serious hand gun for serious individuals, very nice. I’ll admit I’d be a bit gun shy about the recoil on full power loads.
