Nothing to be afraid of Springfield will take care of the issue. That’s what I was afraid of. Thanks for your response
How did you break your rear sight?I recently broke the rear sight on my XDM 5.25 competition 10mm. I cannot find a replacement. Does anyone know where I can find one?
It probably has something to do with the fact that the 5.25 XDM comes with an adjustable rear sight which has moving parts and by default would be easier to break than a standard solid sight. How did you break your rear sight?
I just asked because my adjustable rear sights have never broke. I have shot many competitions with mine, as well as dropping it on concrete. And I have had zero issues with either the front or rear sight. I even have the same adjustable sights on my 1911 TRP 45ACP and no issues there either. So was just curious on how they actually broke. Because he said "I broke" and didn't say "the sight broke". Makes me think something unusual happened. It probably has something to do with the fact that the 5.25 XDM comes with an adjustable rear sight which has moving parts and by default would be easier to break than a standard solid sight.
I agree something really out of line of normal use must have happened to break the sight.I just asked because my adjustable rear sights have never broke.
