Browning Hi Power mags fit an SA-35.

well since my state decided to ban "high capacity" mags (and yes, there is now a lawsuit filed with the US supreme court), i still went ahead a week ago and ordered up, 4...10 round mags for my SA-35. got them from Midwest Gun Works.

they just arrived, and the fit, and eject with no issues, and also hold back the slide on an empty mag. frankly, i wasn't too sure if they would fit or not, i should have asked here first. my bad.

they are capable to go to 13 rounds too, there is an included "yellow" pin of sorts, i don't know how to use it though.

some pics, if anyone knows how to use that yellow pin, let me know, but you have my word, I WILL NOT alter these 10 rd mags, they will stay 10 rd.

in this pic, you may be able to see a "spring" at the bottom of the mag. when i insert this mag into the magwell, that spring stays outside the magwell, and i think it helps with mag ejection?

i can only "surmise", not assume, that inserting that yellow into the bottom of the magazine, "releases" something, then it can hold 13 rounds..???
Like on a regular mag the baseplate is held to another plate inside (that has a pin that goes into a hole in the baseplate) that interfaces with the spring.

Because of the plastic section the mag is limited to 10 rds. During the AWB days it was common to see 10 rd mags made like that.

Because that is a 10 rd mag compared to a normal/standard capacity mag the plastic section limits the # of rounds but needs to fit the grip. In order to disassemble the mag for cleaning or spring replacement, the yellow pin is long enough to depressed the pin inside.

actually these 10 round mags fit perfectly and do not stick out. they are 10 round, rather than the original 13 round ones.
Ok well the last paragraph of your original post you say the spring that can be see in the lower part of the mag sticks out of the mag well??
Glad they worked out for you.

yeah, i don't know the actual name for that particular spring, nor do i have a camera that takes great close up pics. but when inserted into the magwell, the "edge..???" of that spring "rests..???" at the opening of the magwell. maybe it helps with the mag releasing faster..??

and the magazine sits flush, nothing sticking out.

i dunno.

in this webpage picture from midwest gun works, you can see the spring sticking out on the side, near the bottom.

my "best guess" is that it helps with ejecting the magazine faster
